Last updated: 27 October 2026 · Texture Dublin
This policy explains how Texture Dublin (“Texture Dublin”, “we”, “us”) uses personal data when you visit this website, contact us or become a customer. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336 of 2011).
Who we are
The data controller is Texture Dublin, Barstown Commercial Park, Barstown, Dunboyne . Contact us about anything in this policy at +353 83 017 0588.
What we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, phone number, email, messages, photos and measurements you send us (WhatsApp, phone, email, quote form) | Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote | Steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Property address, access details, survey notes and drawings | Surveying, designing, making and installing your project | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Invoices, payment records and VAT details | Accounting and tax obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Website usage data from Google Analytics 4 | Understanding which pages are useful so we can improve the site | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Advertising identifiers (Google Ads, Meta Pixel) | Measuring our ads and showing relevant ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Photos of finished work at your property | Our portfolio and social media — only with your permission, without your address | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
We never sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
When you message us on WhatsApp, the service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, which processes your messages under its own terms and privacy policy. The quote form on this website does not store anything: it simply opens WhatsApp with your message filled in. Messages are kept on our business phone for as long as we need them for your enquiry or project.
Who we share data with
Only with the people who help us deliver the service, and only what they need:
- trusted trades working on your project (for example a Safe Electric registered electrician for an illuminated sign);
- our accountant and Revenue, for tax purposes;
- IT providers who process data on our behalf: website hosting, email, Google Ireland Limited (Analytics and Ads) and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel), when you have consented.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: up to 12 months.
- Customer, quote and invoice records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as Irish tax law requires.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
- Your cookie choice: six months, after which we ask again.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, or to withdraw your consent at any time (use Cookie settings in the footer for cookies). Contact us at +353 83 017 0588 — we reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 — www.dataprotection.ie.

We keep devices and accounts protected with passwords and two-factor authentication, share data only when needed and use providers that apply appropriate security measures. This website is served over HTTPS.

Our services are not aimed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
