From the alcoves beside a Victorian chimney breast to the awkward space under a 1970s staircase, built-in joinery turns dead corners into storage that looks deliberate. We design units that line up with your cornicing, skirting and window heights, so they read as part of the architecture.

Since 6 August 2026 furniture and wood-based articles sold in the EU must not release more than 0.062 mg/m³ of formaldehyde. We specify E1-class (or better) MDF, chipboard and plywood from suppliers who certify compliance — better air quality in bedrooms, nurseries and kitchens.

We buy timber and panels from established merchants operating under EU timber legislation, and can specify chain-of-custody certified, sustainably managed timber on request.

Low-VOC paints and lacquers
Spray-painted and lacquered finishes use coatings that meet EU limits on volatile organic compounds, and we allow proper curing time before installation.

Storage furniture safety
Wardrobes, kitchen units and cabinets are designed around the stability, strength and durability principles of EN 14749, and tall furniture is anchored to the wall to prevent tipping — especially important in homes with children.

How much do alcove units cost in Dublin?

Can you hide cables and the TV box in a media wall?
Yes — we design media walls with concealed cable routes, ventilated cupboards for consoles and routers, and optional recesses for electric fires and soundbars.
Do you paint the units?
We can deliver units spray-painted in your chosen colour, or fitted, filled and primed ready for your decorator.
Will units fit my uneven period walls?
Yes. Old Dublin walls are rarely straight; we scribe every unit to the wall, floor and ceiling so there are no visible gaps.
