Terms & conditions

Last updated: 27 October 2026 · Texture Dublin

These terms apply to work carried out by Texture Dublin (“Texture Dublin”, “we”). Your written quote may add project-specific terms; if they differ, the quote wins. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

1. Prices and quotes

  • Most services are priced on enquiry. The limited starting rates are guides. Your quotation confirms materials, delivery, installation, applicable VAT and the complete total.
  • Your fixed written quote follows a survey and is valid for 30 days. It lists the specification, price, payment stages and estimated timescale.
  • Work not included in the quote (for example building work, plastering, plumbing or electrical changes discovered on site) is quoted separately before it is carried out.

2. Orders and deposits

  • Made-to-measure work (wardrobes, kitchens, built-ins, cabinets, signs) starts when you approve the final drawings and pay the deposit shown on your quote, so that materials can be ordered.
  • Small jobs such as assembly, installation and repairs are paid on completion. Any minimum visit charge is confirmed in your quotation.
  • The balance is due on completion of installation unless your quote says otherwise.

3. Cancellation

Cancellation rights depend on the goods, services and how the contract is agreed. For most online purchases, the cooling-off period is 14 days from receipt of goods or agreement of a service contract. Different rules can apply to doorstep sales. Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised can be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation; this does not remove your rights if goods are faulty or not as described. We confirm the applicable cancellation information before an order is agreed. See the CCPC guidance on buying online and doorstep purchases.

4. Access and preparation

Please give us safe access to the work area, clear the space where possible and tell us about parking, lifts or building-management rules in advance. For apartments, you are responsible for any approval needed from your management company.

5. Changes, timing and materials

  • Changes requested after design sign-off may affect the price and timescale; we confirm them in writing first.
  • Timescales are good-faith estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as supplier shortages.
  • Timber is a natural material: grain and colour vary, and painted joints may show fine movement lines with seasonal changes in humidity. This is normal and not a defect.

6. Signage, planning and electrical work

  • Unless we are engaged to apply for planning permission on your behalf, you are responsible for landlord consent and any planning permission your sign requires. We are happy to advise and prepare drawings.
  • Electrical connections are carried out and certified by a Safe Electric registered contractor.

7. Guarantees and your rights

Goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and our services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If something is not right, tell us as soon as possible and we will put it right in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2022. Any additional guarantee we offer is confirmed in writing on your quote.

8. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses where you are a consumer. Nothing limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

9. Complaints

Please contact us first at +353 83 017 0588 — we aim to resolve every concern quickly. Information about your consumer rights is available from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at ccpc.ie.

10. Website and intellectual property

The Texture Dublin name, logo, illustrations, text and designs on this website belong to us. Designs and drawings we prepare for you remain our property until paid for in full. These terms are governed by Irish law and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction.
