Fitted wardrobe costs: how to get a useful quote

Plan a fitted wardrobe in Dublin or Meath: measure your room, compare doors and storage, and ask Ali Onder for a quotation based on your specification.

A fitted wardrobe should solve the storage problems in your room, rather than simply fill a wall. At Texture Dublin, wardrobe enquiries go to Ali Onder, who coordinates the furniture and carpentry service from our Dunboyne base. We quote for the actual layout, materials and installation instead of publishing a price for every possible combination.

What changes a wardrobe quotation?

The overall width and height are only the starting point. A shallow alcove with shelving is a different project from full-depth hanging storage, and a walk-in layout has different requirements again. Door construction, painted or wood-effect surfaces, internal drawers, mirrors and lighting all affect the specification.

Ask for the scope to identify what is included: carcasses, doors, handles, interiors, finishing, fitting and any making good. Delivery, access, removal of existing furniture and applicable taxes should also be clear. Comparing these details is more useful than comparing two headline figures for different designs.

Measurements to send first

Measure the available width at the top, middle and bottom, plus the height on both sides. Note the depth to the nearest obstacle, such as a doorway, radiator or window sill. These are preliminary measurements; the final design needs the actual room conditions to be checked.

Send a straight-on photo and a wider photo showing the whole room. Point out sockets, skirting boards, ceiling slopes and any access restrictions. Include your town or Dublin area so that travel and fitting can be considered in the quotation.

Hinged doors, sliding doors or open storage?

Hinged doors make the full interior easy to reach, but need opening space in front. Sliding doors can suit a tighter room; the track and overlapping panels also need to be allowed for. An open dressing area makes contents visible and accessible, while placing more importance on a tidy internal layout.

Think about how you use the wardrobe: long coats, folded clothes, shoes, bags and smaller accessories need different storage. A simple sketch of the contents you want to store is often more useful than choosing a door colour first.

Use the shop example as a conversation starter

Our shop includes an illustrative Oak & Ivory Wardrobe with a rotatable 3D view. Its dimensions and displayed example price are a starting concept, not a confirmed offer for your home. You can send Ali the product, quantity, preferred finish and requested changes on WhatsApp.

The 3D image shows the example design. It does not certify clearances, construction details or the appearance of every finish option. Your agreed specification and written quotation take precedence.

Request your wardrobe quote

Send Ali Onder your photos, approximate width, height and depth, location and preferred style. Say whether you need a freestanding design, a fitted installation or an adaptation to an awkward space. Texture Dublin will then confirm the next steps and the information needed for a tailored quotation.
